Boys XC Travels to MSU

The Salem Boys Cross Country Team competed in the elite race at the 2017 MSU Spartan Invitational yesterday, finishing 10th place (out of 42 schools) with 323 points.

Two Rocks finished in the top 40 – senior Ryan Exell ran 16:32 to finish 35th and junior Luke Haran ran 16:40 to finish 38th.  Senior Andrew Beyer (72nd), junior Christo Jeffers (85th), senior Nolan Teodori (123rd), freshman Talha Syed (135th), and junior Shane McKimmy (139th) also competed in the race in which 288 athletes competed.

This meet is one of the top in the Midwest each fall, featuring many of the best teams in Michigan and teams from Ohio as well.

Salem next races on Tuesday, September 19 in a dual meet with John Glenn at John Glenn High School
