Meet Recap

The Salem Boys Tennis team sewed up 2nd place in the division and a berth in the ‘A’ conference tournament with a 7-2 victory over Livonia Churchill.
1s Eric Liu coasted to victory over Jonny Zhou (LC) 6-1, 6-2.
2s Jason Zheng (S) fought hard but fell to Mick Htake (LC) 6-4, 7-5.
3s Parshva Sanghvi (S) went down to Conner Riley (LC) 6-2, 6-3.
4 s Ajay Bharathan (S) was the first one off the court with a quick 6-0, 6-0 victory overJack Yaquinto (LC).

1d Andrew Clarke/Khush Patel had little trouble eliminating Diego Rodriguez/Logan King (LC) 6-0, 6-3.
2d Ryan The/Nihal Lingam (S) had little difficulty overPranav Sundarargan/Ashwath Kamaravel (LC) 6-1, 6-1.
3d Justin Kuhn/ Neel Shah (S) stretched out a long 2 set victory over Logan Welch/Zachary Bond (LC) 6-4, 6-4.
4d Roenik Master/ Rahul Rao (S) made quick work of Vansh Amin/Eshan Raul (LC) 6-3, 6-3.
5d Jack Nugent/Cal Smiley (S) dispensed Rishi Chandran/Yajvan Ravan (LC) 7-5, 6-2.

The Rocks travel to Brighto for a quad on Saturday, while the JV stay home for a quad at the Park courts.

The Salem boys cross country came out en masse to cheer on their tennis brothers. It was nice having a boisterous cheering section to guide us to victory. The tennis team will show up Friday at the Salem/Canton football game as part of activities through SOSA.
