“Nate Gaubatz had an outstanding day today!” Assistant Head Coach Jeremy Henderson says.  “He only weighs 88 lbs. in a 103 lbs weight class and is a freshmen. He is a motor and has a lot of heart. We are really look forward to working with him for years to come.  With his performance today he earned his varsity letter.”
Overall the team looked good taking 4th with 12 kids.  Coach Henderson states “We were missing 2 of our starters in the line up. That being said, we still need to improve throughout the season to get to where we want to go. A lot of kids are stepping up. Our team needs a few more competitors and we can be dangerous come districts.”
The Rocks are 6-1 in dual meets with the Adrian High School Dual Tournament coming up next Saturday.  The Rocks also have a J.V Tournament Monday December 29th at Salem High School.
