Meet Recap

The Salem boys tennis team finished third in Saturday’s Plymouth Wildcat Invitational held at PCEP. As all three teams were playing it drew a nice crowd to cheer on all the players. The other opponent was Walled Lake Central that finished in fourth place. 2nd place medals went to 2 singles player Charles Liu, 3 doubles players WenHao Yu and Ajai Bharathan, 4 doubles players AJ Choukair and Jacob Rumpz, and the 5 doubles team of Gage Moyer and Justin Kuhn. Caden Sweet, one half of the 2 doubles team with his twin Conor, suffered a sprained ankle in his first match and had to pull out. He was replaced by senior Andrew Zhou for the final two matches.
The Rocks take on the defending state champions Novi at home on Tuesday.
