Sophomore Luke Haran won his sixth meet of the year today, running 16:47 at Willow Metropark to lead the Rocks. Haran now ranks #36 in Salem history and the #7 sophomore. Following Haran were junior Andrew Beyer (17:17, #68 all-time), sophomore Shane McKimmy (17:23, #78 all-time), senior Tyler Dew (17:23, #78 all-time), and junior Ryan Exell (17:28). All five ran season or lifetime bests. Also running varsity were junior Owen Parks (17:29, #83 all-time), and senior Tyrin Johnson (17:33, #87 all-time). Salem placed 1-2-3-4-6-7-8 to win 16-47 over East.
Earning Golden Shoe Awards for their performances were junior Andrew Beyer, junior Ryan Exell, senior Tyrin Johnson, junior Aaron Profozich, senior Lukas Jira, and freshman Jack Ritter. On the day, 32 athletes ran new season bests and 28 athletes ran new lifetime bests.
