Boys Varsity Cross Country · Boys XC Wins Marauder Invite


The #9 ranked Salem Boys Cross Country Team won the 2017 Marauder Invitational, finishing with a total of 38 points to nip #2 ranked Saline by one point.

All seven runners for the Rocks finished in the top 20, led by senior Ryan Exell (3rd) and junior Luke Haran (6th).  They were followed by senior Andrew Beyer (10th), junior Christo Jeffers (12th), freshman Talha Syed (14th), junior Shane McKimmy (16th), and senior Nolan Teodori (19th).  Jeffers, Syed, McKimmy, and Teodori each ran new lifetime bests.

Salem was led in the reserve race by senior Alec Teodori, who won the race individually in a new lifetime best of 17:08 and sophomore Bryce Paine who finished 2nd in a time of 17:15.  233 total athletes ran in the reserve race.

Salem next races on Tuesday, October 3 in a dual meet with Livonia Churchill at Willow Metropark.
