Up next for our SLAX Senior Profiles will be Jarrett Droski.  This is Jarrett’s 4th year playing for Salem and 7th overall.  Jarrett’s older brother, Jacob, also played lacrosse for Salem as well.  Jarrett wears number 11 and plays what could be the toughest position on the lacrosse field as our goalie, while facing an average of 25 shots from our opponents trying to score on him per game!  We found out some more interesting information about Jarrett during our interview with him, check it out below to learn more about Jarrett Droski…

How long have you been playing lacrosse? I have been playing since I was in 6th grade

What are your favorite classes in High School? Philosophy and Psychology

What are some of your hobbies? None

What is your all-time favorite movie?  I don’t know, but Moana is up there

What movie star would play you in the movie about your life? Definitely Kevin Hart because he is very funny and always motivated outside his work

What are your plans for after High School? Hopefully go to U of M Dearborn and play lacrosse

What is your goal this season for the Salem lacrosse team?  To push myself and the team to get to the next level

Who’s the hardest working player on the lacrosse team? I would say Chase Cunningham because he always pushes himself passed his breaking points

What is your best memory so far from playing lacrosse at Salem? Beating our rival teams – Canton and Plymouth

What one piece of advice do you have for this year’s freshman lacrosse players?  Be dedicated to the team but also focus on schooling
