Up next for our SLAX Senior Profiles will be Sean McCormack.  This is Sean’s 1st season of lacrosse at Salem but you would not with how quickly Sean is picking up the sport.  Just like he did in football, hockey, and baseball at Salem, Sean is making his presence felt and proving to be a great teammate.  Sean will play defense for our program and wear number 9.  As mentioned, Sean is a multi-sport athlete and he scored his first goal in hockey this season (where he also played defense).  We found out some more interesting information about Sean during our interview with him, check it out below to learn more about Sean McCormack…

How long have you been playing lacrosse? First year

What are your favorite classes in High School? Rock shop

What are some of your hobbies? Playing sports and chillin with the boys

What is your all-time favorite movie?  Remember the Titans

What movie star would play you in the movie about your life? Will Ferrell

What are your plans for after High School?  I will be attending Grand Valley State University

What is your goal this season for the Salem lacrosse team? Be the best I can be and learn how to play a new sport

Who’s the hardest working player on the lacrosse team?  Kyle Diton

What is your best memory so far from playing lacrosse at Salem? I’ve played football, hockey and baseball for Salem and have great memories. This is my first time playing lacrosse and look forward to making more memories

What one piece of advice do you have for this year’s freshman lacrosse players? Work hard and enjoy the moment. High school years fly by!
