We have one more interview to share for our 2018 SLAX Senior Profiles, as we are fortunate to bring back to the program Nic Azarovitz.  Nic played for our Varsity team his Freshman and Sophomore seasons and then took a break to go play hockey out of state in Pennsylvania for the Johnstown Tomahawks (near Pittsburgh) where he starred as a defenseman.  Nic is excited to be back on the SLAX team with his good friends as he closes out his high school lacrosse career.  Nic will wear number 30 for the Rocks and will look to join his fellow midfielders in scoring lots of goals this season while on offense and locking down the opposition while on the defensive end.  We found out some more interesting information about Nic during our interview with him, check it out below to learn more about Nic “Azar” Azarovitz…

How long have you been playing lacrosse?  I’ve been playing since 6th grade.

What are your favorite classes in High School?  My favorite class is Yoga.

What are some of your hobbies?  Playing hockey.

What is your all-time favorite movie?  My favorite movie is Intersteller.

What movie star would play you in the movie about your life?  Will Smith.

What are your plans for after High School? I plan to play hockey, hockey, and more hockey.

What is your goal this season for the Salem lacrosse team?  Park Champs.

Who’s the hardest working player on the lacrosse team?  Kyle Diton.

What is your best memory so far from playing lacrosse at Salem?   My best memory is beating Plymouth my freshman year.

What one piece of advice do you have for this year’s freshman lacrosse players?  High School goes by very quick, make sure you enjoy and experience it to the fullest.
