Salem Girls won last night against Novi, 80.5 to 56.5!
There were many many great races, including:
Newcomer Halle Faulkner placing third in the 100m, 13.92
Sophmore Angelina Gusler with a great 100m improvement (15.19 to 14.74) and 200M PR (31.04)
Marissa Henry trying the 200m Dash with Salem’s best time of the night- 30.4
200m PR’s for Keen, Napthen, Butler, Gusler, Shroff, Alonso-Martinez, Kotha, Tenka, Boud, Chalmers, Kish, Marten and Allen
Mackenzie Zapinski placing third in the open 400m with a PR of 1:05.03
Sweeping the 800m with Millen-Wheeler-Henry
First and second place in the mile with Regan Justice and Olivia Millen
Season PR’s in the mile for Millen, Wheeler, Kulick, Orwin, Bingi, Ding, Landon, Gumber and Paine
Sweeping the 3200m with Justice- Kulick- Burke. Aubrey Burke made a fantastic effort to best Novi in the last 100m of this race. She placed third by .06 of a second. Great effort!!
Lemieux and Barczyk placing 1-2 in the 100m hurdles
The 4×100 team of Zapinski- Parker- K. Stewart- Faulkner improving our season best time by 2 seconds
A season best in the 4×200 with Keen- Shroff- Alonso-Martinez- Napthen
A win in the 4×400 with Zapinski- Wheeler- La Forest and Millen amd also the 4×800 with Millen, Justice, Henry and Wheeler
And in the field events…
1-2 finish in shot put  with Johnson and Whitted (huge PR of 29’11.3). Also PR’s from Susie Kish and Sara Meeks.
First place throw from Lauren Johnson in disc, with PR’s for Kish, Whitted, Rachwal and Marten
1-2-3rd place tie in high jump from Katie Stewart, Cipolla and Emma Stewart

Great long jump performances all around! PR’s for Allen, Wisniewski, Tenka, Mench, Rachwal,  Cipolla, Emma Stewart (second place) and Halle Faulkner (first place)
