The Salem Boys Cross Country team won the 2018 Marauder Invitational, hosted by Gibraltar Carlson, on Saturday, September 29th. The Rocks had 35 points to outdistance 2nd place Ypsilanti Lincoln (93 points) and 3rd place Temperance Bedford (97 points).
Salem was once again led by senior Luke Haran, who ran 16:25 to win the race. Also scoring for the Rocks were sophomores Talha Syed (4th) and Hezekiah Williams (5th), senior Christo Jeffers (12th), freshman Luke Nelson (17th), junior Bryce Paine (21st), and junior Kanden Cho (38th).
Salem next races on Tuesday against Northville and Howell at Willow Metropark before returning to Willow again on Saturday for the Wayne County Championships.
