Salem High School 3rd 14

Just 2 points separated the top 5 finishers Saturday at the Woodhaven Warrior Classic. Parma Western took top honors beating out Chelsea with more head to head victories. Salem, Trenton, and Woodhaven all had 14 points. In head to head play, Salem beat Woodhaven but lost out to Trenton. It was a very competitive tournament.

The 4 doubles team of Akash Bharathan and Gautham Kanakasabal took 2nd place honors and a silver medal.
Parker Henderson and Havish Poluru at 3 doubles took the bronze medal with 2 points.
Nihal Lingam continued his fine season with 2 points and a bronze medal.
Ajay Bharathan also took bronze with 2 points.

Junior Eric Liu repeated the Top Gun honors as the 1singles winner, steamrolling past a very fine Parma Western player 6-0, 6-1. When Eric gets pushed he seems to step it up a notch and had the Western player just shaking his head.
Every Salem player took at least 1 point and represented their team well.
