Salem Girls Track defeated the Hartland Eagles 76-61 to finish the dual meet season 4-1. The Rocks performed well across the board – lots of varsity letters were earned last night:

100m dash: Autumn Smith (13.04) and Hannah Pheeney (13.24) placed 2nd & 3rd
200m dash: Mari Westley (26.94) and Sydney Meloche (27.94) went 1-2
400m dash: Madison Grieb was 3rd (1:04.34)
800m dash: Salem swept this event (Olivia Millen 2:20.74, Sophie Jeffers 2:26.94, Hallie Younglas 2:32.44)
1600m run: Reagan Justice (5:21.9), Hallie Younglas (5:35.2), and Marissa Henry (5:36.9) went 1-2-3
3200m run: Grace Landon was 1st (12:58.4) and Claudia Shuler 3rd (13:48.3)
300mH: Dom Binguit was 3rd (52.94)
4x100m relay: Autumn Smith, Hannah Pheeney, Sydney Meloche, and Mari Westley placed first (51.34)
4x400m relay: Sophie Jeffers, Olivia Kernahan, Madison Grieb, & Olivia Millen won with a time of 4:29.7
4x800m relay: Charlotte Tabor, Bridget Nelson, Sarah Griffiths, & Elena Wheeler placed 1st (10:57.3)
Shot Put: Lyniah Wilson was second with a throw of 36’ 6”
Discus: Natalia Lewandowski was 2nd (96’ 2”) and Lauren Johnson 3rd (95’ 2”)
High Jump: Macayla Harris was 2nd with a jump of 5’ 2” *
Long Jump: Mariana Suarez-Arzaga (15’ 11.75” ) and Julia Devine (15’ 7” ) went 1-2
Pole Vault: Cloe Longeway won the pole vault with a height of 10’ 6”

Next up: the Rocks varsity lineup will compete the KLAA Conference Meet at Novi H.S. on Friday, May 10th.
