Coach Dave Gerlach’s Comments:
“Teamwork, toughness, passion, selflessness and having fun. These girls are doing it all. Once again they worked together and were encouraging each other on the course to succeed. Race order was flip flopped and the JV started us off on the right foot with a dominating performance. Grace Landon lead the way by winning the JV race. The JV took 6 of the top 10 places. The Varsity backed up a true team performance lead by Reagan Justice’s 5th place finish. We knew going in that we had a good Plymouth and Grand Blanc teams to contend with. This course is not a speed course. It is all about strength, strategy and mental toughness with all of the turns and hills. We got a decent start again and let a lot of the other teams dictate the pace. Our girls hit the mile mark and really took off and hunted people down. This is our 2nd invitational win this season and hoping to stay healthy and hungry for competition. We have a big KLAA division meet on Tuesday with two ranked teams of Brighton and Northville.”

Next Race: KLAA East Division Double Dual at Huron Meadows Metropark on Tuesday 9/17/19 against Northville & Brighton
