Coach Dave Gerlach’s Comments:
“The weather jumped by 20 degrees and the humidity made the air very thick. Even with those conditions the team competed with a focus in their eyes. Hartland is a good team that is very well coached. We had our scorers go out in a pack with their leaders. At the 2. 1/2 mile mark, our top three (Millen, Kulick, Henry) changed gears and pulled away to secure the victory. I thought our team as a whole competed hard and with passion. We were very pleased with that focus on a hot and humid day. We had 10 season personal bests today which shows we are starting to get to where we want to be as a team.”
