Coach Angela Carron’s Comments:
“The girls battled the heat and humidity today like champs. Despite the rising temps, they went out strong from the start and worked in small packs to pull through each mile. Abby Siddall shined in the Varsity race today; consistent steady pace with an amazing kick to the finish.
The JV didn’t disappoint with a solid start as well. The sun was hot and heavy at the noon start. The girls worked hard and it showed at the finish line. A standout performance of miles and smiles by Kylie Machacek in the JV race from start to finish. A good day of racing overall for the girls. To have the chance to show your mental strength by pushing yourself in rough race conditions like today is a win in my book”

NEXT COMPETITION IS ON SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 28TH WITH A SPLIT SQUAD BETWEEN COACHING LEGENDS AT HURON MEADOWS METROPARK AND CHELSEA INVITATIONAL AT HUDSON MILLS METROPARK
