Baseball to play at Michigan Stadium

On Saturday, April 4th the Salem Rocks Baseball team will take on cross-campus rival Plymouth in a double header showdown in Ann Arbor. The teams will compete in the newly renovated University of Michigan Baseball Stadium. Games are set for 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Admission is free to all guests. GOOD LUCK ROCKS!

Spring Sports Parent Meeting

There will be a parent meeting for all spring sports on Tuesday, March 17, at 6:30 PM in the Canton DuBois Little Theater.  This meeting, led by the PCEP Assistant Principals for Activities and Athletics, is a “general” parent meeting for all sports.  Individual sports may have their own team-specific meetings. PCCS Facilities Commitee

The Plymouth-Canton Community School District recently launched a new steering committee to work towards advancements/renovations for the PCEP athletic/activity facilities. This includes indoor and outdoor spaces. Brian Samulski, the new Assistant Principal for Athletics and Activities at Salem High School, chairs the committee. A collective group of administrators, teachers, coaches, parents and boosters make up the committee.

Did you know that college athletes get a lot of academic help? It’s okay if you do too…most 4.0 students have a tutor at some point in high school. Several options exist for students who need a little extra assistance in their classes: National Honor Society tutors are at our public libraries on week nights.
